At quarter end, Racura held cash and cash equivalents of $34.3 million, with more than 75% of expenditure in the quarter ($2.45 million) invested in R&D and drug manufacturing activities. This strong cash position is expected to fund all committed activities into CY2028, providing a clear runway to advance key clinical milestones. Racura delivered significant progress across its clinical and corporate programs during the quarter. In April, Racura presented new preclinical data at the 2026 American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting on RC220’s mechanism of action and its ability to silence expression of the important oncogene c-MYC which is dysregulated in up to 70% of all cancers. In May a favourable safety review, with no dose-limiting toxicities, enabled the CPACS Phase 1 trial to advance to the next RC220 dose level, further supporting RC220’s safety profile and clinical development. In the same month, the Company entered into a no-fee underwriting agreement, ensuring full exercised of the Piggyback Options and contributing to the $18 million raised in the quarter. In June, Racura attracted a new specialist institutional investor through a small strategic placement of $1 million. Late in the month, the first patient was treated in the Phase 1 HARNESS-1 trial evaluating RC220 in combination with osimertinib for patients with EGFR-mutated non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), marking another important clinical milestone.

With $34.3 million in cash, we are funded to support our clinical activities into CY2028 and well placed to execute on our commercial strategy across AML, EGFR-mutated lung cancer and anthracycline cardioprotection. The progress of the CPACS trial to the next dose level, first patient treatment in the HARNESS-1 trial, and new data supporting RC220’s MYC-silencing mechanism of action, all strengthen the value of our lead asset RC220. We are excited by the opportunities ahead and remain focused on delivering real value for patients and shareholders. ” Key events of the quarter § On 22 April 2026, Racura Senior Scientist Dr Sumit Sahni presented new preclinical data at the 2026 American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting in San Diego. The data showed that (E,E)-bisantrene silences c-MYC gene expression by binding to and stabilising G-quadruplex (G4) DNA structures in the c-MYC promoter region, further clarifying the mechanism of action for Racura’s lead asset RC220 and underpinning our current and future clinical development programs. § On 15 May 2026, Racura announced that its Phase 1 Cardioprotection and Anticancer Synergy (CPACS) trial had been cleared to escalate to the next designated RC220 dose level of 80mg/m². After reviewing safety and pharmacokinetic data from the first patient cohort, the Safety Review Committee identified no dose-limiting toxicities or treatment-related safety concerns, allowing continued dose escalation. The trial is underway in Australia, Hong Kong and South Korea. § On 28 May 2026, Racura announced a no-fee underwriting agreement with the support of an existing shareholder Dr AJ Robinson for the $1.25 Piggyback Options. Dr Robinson previously supported a private placement of $3.22m in December 2025. The full conversion of the Piggyback Options raised $25.2 million, supporting Racura’s clinical programs and balance sheet. We thank Dr Robinson for his generous funding of Racura and our mission. § On 4 June 2026, Racura announced a small strategic private placement to a specialist institutional investor focused on emerging healthcare companies. The placement comprised 526,315 new shares issued at $1.90 per share, raised $1 million and enabled the institutional investor to establish an initial equity position in Racura. § On 16 June 2026, Racura announced it had raised a total of $34.3 million since 2025 through fundraising initiatives including Bonus and Piggyback Option conversions, private placements and option underwriting. The funds support Racura’s RC220 clinical programs in acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), EGFR-mutated non-small cell lung cancer and anthracycline cardioprotection in solid tumour patients, as well as provide general working capital.

The first patient was treated by Principal Investigator Associate Professor Surein Arulananda and his team at Monash Health in Clayton, Victoria, with no adverse events observed during or after RC220 infusion. Other news from the quarter § Dr Feroz Ahmad and Prof Michael Kelso travelled to China to audit Racura’s suppliers and visit potential clinical collaborators. The audit formed part of Racura’s ongoing quality assurance and oversight activities. § Dr Suzanne McCusker joined the Company as Corporate Operations Manager, bringing extensive experience in corporate operations, governance and business management. Since joining, she has enhanced the Company’s operational effectiveness and organisational planning. Post quarter news § On 3 July 2026, Racura announced the Bellberry Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) had approved the HARNESS-1 lung cancer trial, allowing additional Australian clinical trial sites outside of Victoria to join the study. Following ethics approval, Chris O’Brien Lifehouse and Austin Health progressed to governance and start-up activities, supporting increased patient recruitment and the ongoing evaluation of RC220 in combination with osimertinib for patients with EGFR-mutated non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). § From 15 to 17 July 2026, Dr Rodney Cusack and Dr Feroz Ahmad attended the Thoracic Oncology Group of Australasia (TOGA) Annual Scientific Meeting in Melbourne. The meeting provided an opportunity to engage with leading lung cancer clinicians, researchers and industry representatives and discuss the science behind (E,E)-bisantrene and RC220 in the HARNESS-1 clinical trial, enhancing Racura’s engagement with emerging leaders and developments in thoracic oncology.

Racura’s lead asset, (E,E)-bisantrene, is a clinically derisked small-molecule anticancer agent that primarily acts by stabilising G4-DNA and RNA structures, driving potent silencing of c-MYC, a key cancer gene dysregulated in up to 70% of all cancers. (E,E)-bisantrene has shown therapeutic activity in cancer patients and has a well-characterised safety profile. Racura’s discoveries have supported composition-of-matter IP filings that, if granted, could provide up to 20 years of patent protection for (E,E)-bisantrene. Racura is advancing RC220, its proprietary formulation of (E,E)-bisantrene, to address significant unmet need across multiple MYC-driven oncology indications. The Company’s clinical programs include the Phase 3 EMILI trial in acute myeloid leukaemia, the Phase 1a/b HARNESS trial in combination with osimertinib for EGFR-mutated non-small cell lung cancer, and the Phase 1a/b CPACS trial in combination with doxorubicin, where Racura aims to deliver both anthracycline cardioprotection and enhanced anticancer activity. Racura has collaborated with Astex, Emory University, Purdue University, MD Anderson, Sheba City of Health, UNC School of Medicine, the University of Wollongong and the University of Newcastle. Racura is actively exploring partnerships, licence agreements and potential commercial merger and acquisition opportunities to accelerate global patient access to RC220.
