The increase was driven by strong organic growth across all three operating segments . The Consumer segment continued to deliver strong customer growth , reflecting Superloop's leadership in high- speed broadband plans . The Business segment benefited from growth in broadband services , higher active customer connections within Smart Communities , and continued success in secure connectivity and network solutions . The Wholesale segment delivered strong growth and was supported by strong performance by Origin in second half of the year . Explanation of profit / ( loss ) from ordinary activities after tax The Group reported profit after tax for the year was $ 17.5m versus profit after tax of $ 1.2 million for the previous corresponding period . The favourable movement in net profit was predominantly driven by strong performance across all three segments coupled with the contribution from ILT Holdings and Lynham Group acquisitions during the year .
