Hello, welcome to the Sierra Metals Introduction of Interim CEO Conference Call. My name is Harry, and I'll be coordinating your call today. If you'd like to ask a question during Q&A, you may do so by pressing star one on your telephone keypad. I'll now like to hand you over to Ben Escobar t o begin. Ben, please go ahead. Thank you, operator, and good morning, everyone. Thank you for joining us today. As a follow-up to the press release issued by Sierra Metals on Monday, November 28th, the purpose of this conference call is to introduce the company's new interim CEO, Mr. Ernesto Balarezo Valdez, and to provide participants with the opportunity to ask questions related to Mr. Balarezo's role with Sierra Metals. I would like to note that this call may contain forward-looking information that is based on the company's current expectations, estimates and beliefs. This forward-looking information is subject to a number of risks, uncertainties and other factors. Actual results could differ materially from the company's conclusions, forecasts or projections as reflected in the forward-looking information. On October 18th, Sierra Metals filed a press release to inform stakeholders of the outlook for the company and the formation of a special committee of the board's independent directors and the initiation of a strategic re-review process. The special committee continued to explore, review, and consider all options to optimize the operations of the company and possible financing, restructuring and strategic options in the best interest of the co-company. It is the company's current intention to not discuss developments with respect to the special committee process unless and until the board has approved a special transaction or material steps are otherwise determined that disclosure is necessary. The company will not be taking questions about the strategic process, which is being overseen in a diligent, transparent, inclusive and comprehensive manner by the special committee. Again, the purpose of this conference call is to introduce Mr. Balarezo and respond to questions regarding Mr. Balarezo's transition into his role as interim CEO. I'd now like to turn the call over to Oscar Cabrera, Chair of the Board of Directors. Thank you, Ben, and thank you everyone for joining us this morning. I'm pleased to report that following a thorough and comprehensive review of potential candidates and upon the recommendation of a subcommittee of independent directors, the board identified Mr. Balarezo as an ideal candidate to assume the role of interim CEO of the company upon Mr. Marchese's departure. Mr. Balarezo has over 30 years of experience in operational and leadership roles in the mining industry in relevant jurisdictions to the company. He has the full support of the board, and we look forward to working with him as the strategic review process continues. The board has mandated Mr. Balarezo to focus on the safe, efficient and responsible operation of Sierra Metals with the objective of maximizing the value of the company business and assets. I will now pass it over to Ernesto. Ernesto, go ahead please. Thank you, Oscar. Good morning, everyone. I'm very happy to have the opportunity to work with Sierra Metals and to speak with you today. The primary purpose of this call is to respond to inquiries from you regarding my transition into the interim CEO position. By way of introduction, I'd like to give a short summary of my background. My mining roles have included Executive Vice President for the Americas at Gold Fields Limited and CEO of Gold Fields La Cima, where I oversaw the Cerro Corona mining unit in Peru. Also, I have taken the task of various roles, positions at Hochschild Group, where I was VP of operations. Through those roles, I have extensive experience successfully managing substantial mining operations in the jurisdictions where Sierra operates. While I resided in Lima, Peru, I intend to frequently be on site at the company's mines in both Peru and Mexico. While the special committee and its advisors will be focused on the strategic review process, my primary focus will be on the efficient, safe, and responsible operation of the company's business and assets to maximize value. This role matches my operational experience as very well. As a preliminary step, I intend to identify operational priorities that can be addressed during the strategic review process. I would be pleased to now take questions from those on the call today. I pass it over to you, Oscar. Yeah. Harry, if you could get us going with the Q&A, please. Certainly. If you would like to ask a question, please dial star followed by one on your telephone keypad now. We have our first question here from the line of Mark Reichman of Noble Capital Markets. Mark, your line will be open now if you would like to proceed with your question. Thank you and good morning. Really just two questions. First, in what city is Mr. Balarezo based? Are there any plans for him to personally visit any of Sierra's mines in the near future? Yeah, I think, Ernesto, you can take those. Okay. I'm based in Lima, Peru. Lima is 7 and a half hours away from Yanacocha, our mine here in Peru. I plan on traveling to sites. I do believe that managers should be on site. Mark, I mean, Ernesto has already been to the operations. Sorry about that. He's been to the operations already. That's what it looked like he Yeah, it looked like from his resume that he likes to be, you know, involved, and I think that's gonna be a real plus. Just the second question is while it may be difficult to recruit a permanent CEO in the middle of a strategic review, is the decision to appoint Ernesto to the board an indication that he is at least willing to be considered as a permanent CEO or how's the board thinking about that scenario? Well, you know, Mark, I think, you know, the company will consider all qualified and interested candidates to the, you know, to determine the best fit for the position. Mr. Valarezo was hired on a six-month basis, and that will coincide with the strategic process. You know, he's a very capable Interim CEO, and we'll, you know, we'll consider the best fit, you know, depending on the outcome of the strategic process. You know, you got the best man in the seat right now. I agree. Thank you so much. Thank you, Mark. As a reminder, if you would like to ask a question, please dial star followed by one on your telephone keypad now. I'll just leave a moment for any questions to come in. It appears we have no further questions being registered at this time. Oh, my apologies. We do have another question being registered from Mark Brooklyn. Mark, I'll open your line now. Please go ahead. If there were no other questions, I thought I would just ask Ernesto, you know, what are his immediate priorities since being appointed to the role of Interim CEO? Well, like I said, my main priority is to focus on the operations, on the safe and efficient way of moving forward with them. Assess the teams and be on-site in order to assess the issues. I've just been two days on the role. That's my main concern right now. Yeah. Mark, you know, I'd like to emphasize that, you know, Mr. Valarezo's mandate from the board is to focus on safe, efficient, and responsible operations of the company. You know, that is his main focus, with, you know. Like he said, he's been, you know, two days on the role. He's met his operating team, and, you know, he'll be happy to report to you once he gets moving on his priorities. Okay. Well, thank you very much. I appreciate this call this morning. Thank you, Mark. Thank you. We have no further questions registered at this time, so I'd like to hand back to Mr. Ernesto Balarezo for any closing remarks. Well, I thank the board of for considering me for this position. I'll do my best to be up to the task. Thank you again, and we'll be in touch. Oscar? Yeah. Thank you everyone for joining the call. like Ernesto said, we'll be in touch. Thank you very much. Have a good day. Thank you for your attendance, everyone. This concludes today's conference call. You may now disconnect your lines.
