FRoSTA AG, Am Lunedeich 116, D-27572 Bremerhaven Telefon 0471-9736403, E-Mail: info@frosta.de Press Release Revenue growth driven by rejecting “skimpflation”: 1FRoSTA continues to gain market share Current forsa survey: 46% of respondents observe declining quality in food products. FRoSTA deliberately invests in high-quality ingredients instead of cheapening recipes Bremerhaven, 12 February 2026 FRoSTA AG recorded revenue growth of 6.8% in 2025, reaching EUR 682 million. The FRoSTA brand once again grew strongly in 2025, rising by 15.7% and contributing EUR 52.5 million in additional revenue to reach EUR 386 million — the key driver of the Group’s overall growth. Group net profit amounted to EUR 37.0 million (previous year: EUR 42.0 million), representing 5.4% of revenue (previous year: 6.6%), and thus remained within the forecast range. The decline compared to the previous year is due to continued volatility in material costs, significant collective wage increases, and initiatives to expand production and logistics capacities — including the introduction of additional production shifts and weekend operations, as well as hiring and training additional production staff. The FRoSTA brand brings momentum to the freezer aisle In Germany, the FRoSTA brand once again significantly outpaced the market in 2025, with sales volumes rising by +13.4% (frozen food total excl. ice cream: +3.7%). In ready meals — where FRoSTA is the market leader — growth reached +17.7% (Source: YTD Dec 2025 AC Nielsen Germany Grocery Retail). “Seeing the FRoSTA brand grow so much faster than the market again in 2025 is a fantastic success for all of us. Today, nine of the ten best-selling frozen ready meals in Germany are FRoSTA dishes. It seems people really enjoy what we cook,” says Felix Ahlers, CEO of FRoSTA AG. According to a study by the German Federal Statistical Office published on 14 January 2026, the production of ready meals across all categories has increased by 25.6% over the past five years. During the same period, 1 “Skimpflation” (a combination of the English to skimp = to scrimp/save and inflation) refers to a hidden price increase in which the quality of a product is reduced while the price remains the same.

FRoSTA AG, Am Lunedeich 116, D-27572 Bremerhaven Telefon 0471-9736403, E-Mail: info@frosta.de FRoSTA has grown by around 100%. “This also shows that we are on the right track and that consumers appreciate our commitment to quality,” adds Hinnerk Ehlers, Chief Marketing and Sales Officer. forsa survey: Consumers feel the effects of “skimpflation” — FRoSTA takes a different path A recent representative forsa survey (January 2026) commissioned by FRoSTA shows that the issue of “skimpflation” has reached consumers. Nearly one in two respondents (46%) perceives a decline in the quality of processed foods over the past three years. Skepticism toward ready meals is particularly high: two-thirds worry about artificial additives, and three-quarters buy them rarely or not at all because they feel the taste does not compare to home-cooked food. FRoSTA consciously counters this trend by investing in high-quality ingredients rather than replacing them. For example, FRoSTA uses whole wheels of Pecorino cheese from Italy, freshly grated, even though they cost four times as much as industrial processed cheese. FRoSTA also accepts paying twice the price for fresh milk compared to milk powder. For Felix Ahlers, the forsa study confirms this uncompromising approach: “As a trained chef, I know that good food can only be made from good ingredients. There are many ways we could cut costs, but that would come at the expense of taste. We choose the opposite path and never skimp on ingredients,” Ahlers says. “The forsa results clearly show that people have a strong sense of quality. They deliberately choose alternatives that are free from additives and flavorings and taste like home-cooked meals.” Outlook The Executive Board will propose to the Annual General Meeting that a stable dividend of EUR 2.40 per share (2024: EUR 2.40 per share) be approved. For 2026, the Board expects revenue growth of 4% to 9% and a Group net profit between 4% and 8% of revenue. About FRoSTA AG FRoSTA is the market leader for frozen ready meals in Germany.
