Palette Additional Graph Fill Additional Table Positive / Negative 12 August 2026 13 July claims development • On 17 July 2026, a fire broke out in a densely built residential neighbourhood of wooden row houses in Drammen, Norway • The fire spread rapidly due to dry conditions, strong winds and the closely spaced buildings – as a result, over 100 homes were destroyed and over 400 residents had to be evacuated from the area • Sampo’s exposure to the area was lower than the Group’s overall market share in Norway – preliminary claims estimate of around EUR 15 million, primarily affecting Private Nordic European wildfires Residential fire in Drammen, Norway • In July, Europe saw severe wildfires with the worst impact concentrated in France and Spain • Impact on Sampo limited to minor travel insurance cases, with no material corporate exposure near the areas
