This strong momentum was driven by a number of commercial successes and growing contributions from new contracts generating an additional € 9.0 million in the quarter . This performance should be analysed in relation to Q1 2020 which was not yet impacted by the effects of the health crisis and the depreciation of the currencies of certain of the Group's countries of operation . These currency effects are expected to gradually diminish in the 2021 second quarter . This increase relates to the contributions by the three main drivers of CIS ' growth , namely the Americas , Eurasia and Sub - Saharan Africa .
