The negative currency effect of € 16.3m was more than 40 % lower than in Q2 2021. Based on current exchange rates , this amount is expected to decrease significantly over the next few months . This performance was driven by a very dynamic second quarter , with sales of € 66.4m , a significant increase of 19.2 % at constant exchange rates compared to Q2 2020 . Additional revenue of over € 20.0m in the first half was provided by increasing contributions from our operations and new contracts . This momentum confirms the positive trend for the Group's businesses in its three main growth regions , namely South America , Eurasia and Africa .
