Book - to - bill ratio exceeded 1.3 . Adjusted EBIT reached € 335 million leading to an adjusted EBIT margin of 4.5 % . Adjusted net profit² ³ amounted to € 172 million . Free Cash Flow amounted to € ( 1,461 ) million . The backlog amounted to € 76,362 million on 30 September 2021 , providing strong visibility on future sales .
