VAT Kaufman & Broad SA today announced its results for the first nine months of its fiscal year 2021 ( from December 1 , 2020 to August 31 , 2021 ) . Nordine Hachemi , Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Kaufman & Broad , made the following comments : " Momentum for Housing orders improved in the third quarter ( + 7.9 % in volume terms and + 30.2 % in value compared to the third quarter of 2020 ) . This confirms ■ Commercial Property : € 41.0m incl . VAT vs the robustness of demand , from both individual buyers and private and public institutional investors . € 1,098.3m incl . Kaufman & Broad's ability to plan for the future remains intact , with a Housing land reserve of more than 35,000 units at end - August , i.e. approximately € 8.1 billion , including VAT , of potential business , and an overall backlog of € 3.4 billion . Two proceedings have been brought before the Paris Administrative Court of Appeals regarding the building permit obtained for the Gare d'Austerlitz project on December 14 , 2020. The summary proceedings for the suspension of work were dismissed on July 6. A hearing has been scheduled for October 21 , 2021 on the appeal of the building permit . It therefore still seems possible that the contracts will take effect , at the earliest , in the second half of 2022 . Kaufman & Broad also continued to pursue its strategy of developing portfolios of managed senior housing as part of a unique developer / investor / operator model . As discussed in July , Kaufman & Broad and Banque des Territoires ( Caisse des Dépôts ) thus signed an agreement in September to create a property company to develop a portfolio of about 10 senior residences for approximately € 150 million over the next few years . These residences will be managed by Cosy Diem , a joint venture between Kaufman & Broad and Serenis , a major player in the senior housing market . In line with our guidance , revenue for full - year 2021 is expected to be close to € 1.3 billion with an EBIT margin equivalent to the 2020 figure . The earnings outlook for fiscal year 2021 , the soundness of Kaufman & Broad's financial structure and its high backlog suggest that the dividend payable for fiscal year 2021 will be at least € 1.85 per share .
