Strong rural demand has continued to underpin the economy, while improving high -frequency indicators point to a gradual recovery in urban consumption. Inflation remains well an chored. Looking ahead, India's medium -term growth outlook remains optimistic, supported by proactive policy measures from the Government and regulators, opportunities arising from global supply chain realignment, and sustained domestic consumption. At Edelweiss, we began this quarter with strong momentum, reporting a consolidated PAT (post MI) of INR 122 Cr, up 83% YoY, while maintaining a resilient balance sheet with well -capitalised businesses. The businesses continue to demonstrate steady growth with Alternative Asset Management recording Fee Paying AUM growth of 27% YoY to INR 48,62 3 Cr while Mutual Fund Equity AUM increas ing by 32% YoY to INR 96,000 Cr, crossing the benchmark of INR 1 Tn in July 2026. As the year progresses, we remain focused on the strategic priorities outlined for FY27. Our Asset Management businesses continue to scale profitably anchored by robust growth in F ee Paying AUM and Equity AUM. The proposed listing of EAAA remains on track for completion in Q3 of FY27 while the strategic investment by Carlyle in Nido Home Finance is advancing through the final stages of regulatory approvals and is expected to close in September 2026. We are on track to achieve breakeven in our Insurance businesses, while our Credit businesses witnessed calibrated scale up driven by steady ramp up in disbursals. 6.Other MattersThe accompanying Statement includes unaudited interim financial results and other financial information inrespect of:20 subsidiaries, whose unaudited interim financial results include total revenues of Rs 2,211.90 crores, total netprofit after tax of Rs 730.65 crores and total comprehensive income of Rs 538.05 crores for the quarter endedJune 30, 2026, as considered in the financial results which have been reviewed by their respective independentauditors.The independent auditor's reports on interim financial results / financial information of these entities have beenfurnished to us by the Management and our conclusion on the Statement, in so far as it relates to the amountsand disclosures in respect of these subsidiaries is based solely on the report of such auditors and proceduresperformed by us as stated in paragraph 3 above.The auditors of Edelweiss Life Insurance Company Limited (formerly known as Edelweiss Tokio Life InsuranceCompany Limited) ("ELIFE"), a subsidiary, have reported that the actuarial valuation of liabilities of ELIFE for lifepolicies in force and for policies in respect of which premium has been discontinued but liability exists as at June30, 2026 is the responsibility of ELIFE's Appointed Actuary. The actuarial valuation of these liabilities for lifepolicies in force and for policies in respect of which premium has been discontinued but liability exists as at June30, 2026 has been duly certified by the ELIFE's Appointed Actuary and in his opinion, the assumptions for suchvaluation are in accordance with Ind AS 104 "Insurance Contracts", Ind AS 109 "Financial Instruments", theguidelines and norms issued by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India ("the IRDAl") andthe Institute of Actuaries of India in concurrence with IRDAl. The ELIFE's auditors have relied upon the ELIFE'sAppointed Actuary's certificate for expressing their conclusion in this regard.The auditors of ZUNO General Insurance Limited ("ZGIL"), a subsidiary, have reported that the actuarial valuationof liabilities of ZGIL for Incurred But Not Reported and Incurred But Not Enough Reported claims of ZGIL as atJune 30, 2026 is the responsibility of ZGIL's Appointed Actuary. The actuarial valuation of these liabilities hasbeen duly certified by the ZGIL's Appointed Actuary and in his opinion, the assumptions for such valuation are inaccordance with Ind AS 104 "Insurance Contracts", the guidelines and norms issued by the IRDAl and the Instituteof Actuaries of India in concurrence with IRDAl. Obtained the email communication of the quarterly/half yearly reports required to be furnished by the Company to the Debenture Trustee during the period April 01, 2026 toJune 30, 2026pursuant to the requirements of Debenture Trust Deed;iii. Obtained the copies of bank statements and traced the date of repayment of principal and interest due on sample basis during the period April 01, 2026 to June 30, 2026;iv. We have verified the compliance of financial covenants asper the Debenture Trust Deed / information memorandum till date of this report. With respect to the covenants for the period ended June 30, 2026for which due date is after the date of this report, management has represented to us that the same shall be duly complied with within the due date; andv. Performed necessary inquiries with the management regarding any instances of non-compliance of all covenants during the quarter ended June 30, 2026.m.
