MDL has signed a district level MoU with Satara Zilla Parishad, through their CSR implementation partner – Jivika Foundation to vaccinate 2,800 school girls against cervical cancer. MAJOR EVENTS Defence Secretary Giridhar Aramane unveiled a commemorative coin of Face Value of Rs. 250 on the occasion of 250th anniversary of Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited on May 14, 2024. Foundation Stone Laid by Defence Secretary of the additional Land acquired from MbPA admeasuring 58887.04 sq.mtrs on long term lease basis for a period of 29 years w.e.f 01/04/2024.

MAJOR EVENTS Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL) has signed individual Shipbuilding contracts with a European client for construction of an additional three (3) 7500, DWT Multi-Purpose Hybrid Powered Vessels (MPHPV),valued at approximately 43 million USD. With this company has secured an Export order for construction of total 6 Nos. MPHPVs, amounting to approximately 85 million USD. MDL received 2nd order for MRO of Helicopter from the Nepal Army.

MAJOR EVENTS MDL Launched SaurShakti, the nation’s fastest solar-electric boat developed through a ground breaking collaboration between Mazagon dock Shipbuilders Limited and M/s NavAlt (NavAlt solar electric boat Pvt Ltd.), this vessel represents a paradigm shift in eco-friendly Maritime Transportation. MDL launched 24 PAX Hydrogen fuel cell boat on May 14, 2024.

MAJOR EVENTS Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders (MDL) has received a Notification of Award of Contract on 08 August 2024 from Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for Wellhead Platform and Associated Pipeline Project (DSF-II) on EPC reimbursable basis (OBE) at the ceiling price of Rs 4,676.32 crore. MDL received a work contract on 5th September,2024 from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd (ONGC) for the Pipeline Replacement Project 8 Group A (PRP 8 Group A) at the ceiling price of Rs 1486.40 Crores.

On January 15, 2025,Prime Minister Narendra Modi commissioned three indigenously built naval vessels-INS Surat, INS Nigiri, and INS Vaghsheer- at the Naval Dockyard in Mumbai. MOD inks Rs 1,990 crore contract with MDL for construction of Air Independent Propulsion Plug for DRDO-AIP system & its integration into conventional submarines to enhance their endurance. The contract was signed in the presence of Defence Secretary Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh in New Delhi on December 30, 2024.
