SG&A expenses Declined by 1.4% year on year, despite the recognition of 185 million yen in one-off costs associated with the workforce streamlining at overseas offices. The decline reflected a reduction in personnel expenses resulting from the streamlining. Operating income Operating income decreased by 98.1% year on year, owing to the decrease in sales revenue. (Millions of yen) Profit attributable to shareholders of the Company The recognition of finance income, arising mainly from the fair value measurement of securities held, resulted in profit attributable to shareholders of the Company of 524 million yen. (Millions of yen) - Operating profit rose by 69 million yen year on year, offsetting the operating loss of 137 million yen recorded in the first quarter.
