© WORLD HOLDINGS CO., LTD. 2 Summary of Financial Results Overall summary [Sales increased but profits decreased] First half performance surpassed the initial plan despite geopolitical risk and othersources of uncertainty. The main reason is the ability of the core Manufacturing HR Business to meet the strong demand for people. First half profits were down from one year earlier as planned because the delivery of properties in the Real Estate Business is expected to be concentrated in the second half of 2026. No change in the plan for growth of 2026 consolidated sales and profits. Human Resources and Education Business [Sales and profits increased] In the Manufacturing HR Business, sales and profits were higher and exceeded the plan. There was a wide range of demand for people in business sectors including AI/semiconductors, where investments are increasing rapidly. The Manufacturing HR Business was a major component of first half growth as upfront expenditures were made for recruiting, training and other second half activities. [Sales and profits increased] In the Services HR Business, sales and profits were higher than one year earlier. Although profits were below the plan mainly because of upfront expenditures for expansion to more business sectors, sales were as planned because of the high volume of operations in the core logistics sector. Real Estate Business [Sales and profits decreased] First half sales and profits were down from one year earlier and sales were below the plan. The main reasons are the plan for most completions of property sales in the second half and the shift of some property sales from the first to the second half of 2026. Profits were higher than planned because of sales activities with priority on profitability based on carefully planned marketing activities. No change in the 2026 plan due to the outlook to complete planned property sales in the second half. Information and Telecommunications Business [Sales decreased but profits increased] Sales decreased and were below the plan because of shortages of some major smartphone models and other products. However, supplies are improving and cost control measures are progressing. As a result, profits were higher than planned and are expected to be higher than in the1H 2025. Agricultural Park Business [Sales and profits increased] Although unfavorable weather affected performance, the number of visitors and sales per visitor were high because of strong demand primarily during the Golden Week holiday period and the popularity of numerous events. As a result, sales and profits increased and exceeded the plan. Progress is continuing with preparations for operating newly contracted parks. FY2026 2Q Actual
