© Daifuku Co., Ltd. 1 Executive Summary FY2026 H1 results Impact of the situation in the Middle East on business operations FY2026 forecasts − The Group has no production or sales sites in the region, and sales exposure is minimal, accounting for less than 0.1% of consolidated net sales in the previous fiscal year. Accordingly, the direct business impact is limited. − Continue to monitor the impact on orders already received of supply constraints and rising costs for certain materials resulting from higher crude oil prices and disruptions in international logistics, as well as trends in customers' investment plans amid increasing uncertainty in the global economy. − Supported by the continued strong business environment, particularly in cleanroom systems, we revised upward our full-year earnings forecast for orders, sales, and all profit items. All of these are expected to reach new record highs. The Company has also increased the annual dividend forecast to ¥90 per share to further enhance shareholder returns. − Orders, sales, operating income, ordinary income, and net income attributable to shareholders of the parent company reached new record highs for the first half of the fiscal year. Sales and all profits exceeded the upwardly revised forecast announced in May. − Orders remained strong, driven primarily by cleanroom systems for semiconductor production lines, and order backlogs exceeded JPY 740 billion, reaching a new record high. − Operating margin improved, driven by higher sales as well as progress in production efficiency and cost reduction efforts.
