4 Financial Highlights FY2027 Q1 Results Sales / Orders received Against the backdrop of a recovery in the semiconductor market, both sales and income increased significantly year-on-year. Year-on-Year: Sales +4.8 billion yen(+35.6%) Operating Income +2.2 billion yen(+83.4%) ■ The electronic equipment business recorded sales of 13.7 billion yen, a 53.6% increase compared to the same period last year, due to expanded sales of products for the semiconductor industry. ■ Operating income for this segment rose to 4.4 billion yen, a 112.4% increase compared to the same period last year, driving the company-wide sharp increase in income. ■ Domestic sales of products for the semiconductor market performed at an even higher level than the strong previous quarter. 20 Analysis of Increase/Decrease in FYE March 31, 2027 Operating Income Operating income was boosted by expanded sales of products for the semiconductor market and a higher proportion of high-margin products. Reflecting an increase in personnel to support production increase and business expansion, labor costs have been revised upward by 1.9 billion yen year-on-year and by 1.4 billion yen compared to the initial forecast. Depreciation costs (+1 billion yen) and R&D costs (+500 million yen) remain unchanged from the initial forecast, and operating income is expected to reach 20 billion yen.
