Net Sales • Although the number of contracts decreased due to the continued review of certain contracts based on profitability criteria, the contract revenue was maintained, supported by higher contract unit prices and a higher new contract acquisition rate. • Improvement work sales expanded, driven by proactive proposals for periodic replacement, with improvement work for fire extinguishing systems making a particular contribution. Segment Profit • The profit margin improved significantly, reflecting sales growth in improvement work and the results of profitability-focused order- taking activities. Net Sales • Although net sales decreased year on year due to the prolonged construction periods of large-scale projects and the impact of the order cycle, they remained within the range initially expected.
