Summary Second Quarter of the Fiscal Year Ending January 31, 2027 (First Half) Driven by a favorable business environment, our core businesses delivered solid performance, resulting in YoY growth in both revenue and operating profit for the first time in four years Net Sales … JPY 130,672 million (+20.6% YoY / +JPY 22,338 million) Operating Profit … JPY 11,818 million (+86.2% YoY / +JPY 5,471 million) Electrical Parts Business (Motor Core) : Revenue and profit increased due to higher sales, particularly for hybrid vehicle applications, increased customer demand supported by our global manufacturing footprint, and the recording of one-time gains during the period. Electronic Parts Business (Leadframe): Despite delayed price pass-through for rising precious metal costs, revenue and profit increased thanks to strong demand in automotive and consumer electronics, progress in cost pass-through, and the weak yen. In consumer electronics, expanding investments in AI data centers drove increased peripheral demand, providing a broad boost to performance. Outlook Although revenue is expected to increase in the second half on the back of continued strong demand, profit is anticipated to decline from the first half due to the absence of one-time gains recorded in the Electrical Parts Business, increased upfront investment expenses, and higher material and energy prices due to the worsening situation in the Middle East. Reflecting the favorable business environment, we have revised our full-year consolidated earnings forecast upward, increasing net sales from JPY 254.0 billion to JPY 272.0 billion, operating profit from JPY 14.5 billion to JPY 19.5 billion, and net profit attributable to owners of the parent from JPY 10.0 billion to JPY 14.5 billion. Looking ahead to FY2027, the Electrical Parts Business may be impacted by the absence of one-time gains and uncertainty over the sustainability of certain customer demand. Nevertheless, the core earning power of both businesses remains solid, and our medium- to long-term growth outlook remains unchanged. Full-year earnings forecast raised again on continued strong demand; second-half profit expected to decline due to upfront investments Mitsui High-tec Inc. | 2
