We have contracted with the Ministry of Defense to supply onboard equipment for the Mogami-class frigates*1 and the FY2024-class frigates*2. Based on this track record, we are proposing similar onboard equipment for Australia's future fleet of general purpose frigates. By participating in this program, we will support the strengthening of security between Japan and Australia. *1: The first ship was budgeted for in FY2018, and a total of 12 ships have been contracted since then. *2: The first ship was budgeted for in FY2024, with a total of 12 ships planned for procurement thereafter.
