SCREEN Holdings Co., Ltd. Business results, etc. 1. Business results During the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027 (April 1, 2026 to June 30, 2026), the global economy showed a moderate recovery overall, while signs of stagnation were seen in certain regions such as China. On the other hand, the outlook remains uncertain due to the heightened geopolitical risks in the Middle East, and other factors. Regarding the business conditions surrounding the SCREEN Group, the semiconductor industry has seen a growing importance of miniaturization and developing energy-efficient, high-speed semiconductors through advanced packaging, including chiplet integration, against the background of growing demand for generative AI. Consequently, investment in advanced logic and memory has remained strong and is expected to continue to show strong momentum going forward. Meanwhile, in the flat panel display (FPD) market, demand is showing signs of improvement, leading to a recovery in capital investments. Under these circumstances, for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, the SCREEN Group posted consolidated net sales of ¥121,775 million, a decrease of ¥14,010 million (10.3%) from the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year. On the earnings front, as the result of a decrease in net sales, an increase in fixed costs, and other factors, operating income totaled ¥14,368 million, decreased by ¥10,018 million (41.1%) year on year. In addition, ordinary income amounted to ¥15,419 million, decreased by ¥9,150 million (37.2%) year on year. As a result, profit attributable to owners of parent totaled ¥10,490 million, decreased by ¥6,196 million (37.1%) compared with the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year. Performance by reportable segment is as follows. Semiconductor Production Equipment (SPE) In the SPE business, while post‑sales and sales of equipment for DRAM increased year on year, equipment sales for foundry and logic decreased. By region, sales to China and Taiwan declined, although sales to U.S. increased. As a result, net sales in this segment amounted to ¥93,133 million, a decrease of 15.0% year on year. Operating income in this segment was ¥14,388 million, down 44.0% year on year, mainly due to a decrease in net sales and an increase in fixed costs. Graphic Arts Equipment (GA) In the GA business, net sales in this segment amounted to ¥13,832 million, up 7.1% year on year, due to increased sales of recurring business, mainly ink. Operating income was ¥1,421 million, up 150.7% year on year, mainly reflecting the increase in sales. Display Production Equipment and Coater (FT) In the FT business, equipment sales increased, as a result of which net sales in this segment amounted to ¥10,857 million, up 8.0% year on year. Despite an increase in fixed costs, operating income was ¥1,276 million, up 54.4% year on year, mainly due to improved profitability. PCB-Related Equipment (PE) In the PE business, due to an increase in post-sales, net sales in this segment amounted to ¥3,132 million, up 2.0% year on year. Despite the increase in net sales, the segment posted an operating loss of ¥299 million, compared with operating loss of ¥29 million in the same period of the previous fiscal year, mainly due to an increase in fixed costs. Note: Changes in reportable segments have been effective from the first quarter ended June 30, 2026. Please refer to “Notes to the quarterly consolidated financial statements: Segment information” for more information. The above comparisons with the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year are recategorized in accordance with the aforementioned changes. - 4 -

SCREEN Holdings Co., Ltd. (Millions of yen) The first half ending Sept. 30, 2026 Fiscal year ending Mar. 31, 2027 Net sales ¥317,000 ¥743,000 SPE 260,000 620,000 GA 28,500 60,000 FT 20,000 43,000 PE 7,000 16,500 Other and Adjustments 1,500 3,500 Operating income 56,000 156,500 Ordinary income 56,000 156,500 Profit attributable to owners of parent 37,500 115,000 2. Financial position Total assets as of June 30, 2026 stood at ¥769,203 million, an increase of ¥46,782 million, or 6.5%, compared with March 31, 2026. This was primarily attributable to an increase in cash and deposits and inventories, despite a decrease in securities (certificates of deposit). Total liabilities amounted to ¥271,864 million, up ¥36,128 million, or 15.3%, compared with the end of the previous fiscal year. This was mainly due to an increase in contract liabilities and notes and accounts payable, including electronically recorded obligations. Total net assets amounted to ¥497,339 million, up ¥10,654 million, or 2.2%, compared with the end of the previous fiscal year. This was mainly attributable to the increase in valuation difference on available-for-sale securities, despite the payment of cash dividends. As a result, the equity ratio as of June 30, 2026 stood at 64.6%. Cash flows The status of cash flows for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027 is as follows. Net cash provided by operating activities amounted to ¥9,023 million, compared with ¥6,999 million provided in the same period of the previous fiscal year. This was because the sum of inflows such as an increase in contract liabilities, income before income taxes, and a decrease in notes and accounts receivable, including electronically recorded monetary claims, and contract assets exceeded the sum of outflows such as an increase in inventories and income taxes paid. Net cash used in investing activities amounted to ¥10,000 million, compared with ¥9,725 million used in the same period of the previous fiscal year. This was largely attributable to the purchase of property, plant and equipment, such as a facility for R&D. Net cash used in financing activities amounted to ¥16,256 million, compared with ¥28,968 million used in the same period of the previous fiscal year, mainly due to cash dividends paid. As a result, cash and cash equivalents as of June 30, 2026 totaled ¥211,228 million, down ¥14,505 million from March 31, 2026, reflecting the effect of exchange rate changes on cash and cash equivalents and other factors. 3. SCREEN Holdings Co., Ltd. Notes to the quarterly consolidated financial statements Note on going concern assumption: Not applicable Note on significant changes in the amount of shareholders’ equity: Not applicable Note on accounting policies specific to the preparation of the quarterly consolidated financial statements: Calculation of income taxes Income tax amount is calculated principally by multiplying reasonably estimated annual effective tax rate through the first quarter ended June 30, 2026, with the effects of deferred taxes reflected, by the amount of year-to-date income before income taxes. When calculation using reasonably estimated annual effective tax rate causes irrational results, income tax amount is calculated based on the legal tax rate. - 11 -
