© 2025 FURUYA METAL CO., LTD. All Rights Reserved. FY2025 Q3 Overview 2 1. Market environment (1) While the information and communications market, the semiconductor market, and the electronics market maintaining the solid demand, the market sentiment turned quite unforeseeable due to change of capital investment plans in these industries as affected by the recent turmoil in the global trading. (2)Iridium price fell as the demand for hydrogen deflated, and ruthenium price rose thanks to strong demand. Yen was depreciated beyond the level set in the budget against the U.S. Dollar. 2.Our performance (1)Revenue in Q3 was 13.9 billion yen (+1.7billion yen YoY) and gross income was 3.4billion yen (▲0.2billion yen YoY). The accumulated revenue for the first nine months of FY2025 was 40.8billion yen (+7.5billion yen YoY) and the gross income was 11.3 billion yen (+1.1billion yen YoY). (2) The thin film segment, where data center investment continues, performed well. In the thermal segment, inventory adjustments continued, but new commercial channels have been launched, which is expected to be a growth driver in the future. In the fine chemical & recycling segment, electrodes business declined from the 2nd quarter following the last-minute demand in the 2nd quarter. Orders have continued stably.
