Business Highlights for First Quarter FY27/3* Consolidated - Media & Content Business: increase in sales, decrease in profit - Time sales: Achieved the same level as the previous year as sales of regular programs increased and the YoY sales decrease of sports programming was retained to a minimum - Spot sales: Large decrease due to the negative rebound from the previous year’s temporary surge in demand - Internet revenue: Grew due to increase in production commissions - Shopping revenue: Decrease due to consumers holding back on purchases from worsening external conditions - TDP & Events Business: increase in sales and profit - TDP & Events: Grew due to events at TOKYO DREAM PARK and other factors - Music Publication: Increase due national tour of artist under management, KETSUMEISHI - Other Businesses: increase in sales and profit - Equipment sale and lease: Grew due to increase in audio-visual equipment rentals for concerts/events ⁃ Consolidated Results: increase in sales, decrease in profits ⁃ TOKYO DREAM PARK Surpassed a total of 1 million visitors in 3.5 months since opening on March 27 - Surpassed a total of 1 million visitors in approximately 3.5 months (July 12) since its opening 100% DORAEMON & FRIENDS in Tokyo surpassed 200 thousand visitors on July 25 / AmberS, AKECHICO and musical DEAR EVAN HANSEN at EX THEATER ARIAKE drew great crowds / immersive digital art venue RÊVE DES LUMIÈRES opened on June 12 - Revenue from events and related merchandise sales were strong, as was facility rental revenue * “FY27/3” refers to fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, and all other fiscal years are referred to in the same manner.
