Purcari Wineries: H1 2026 EBITDA up 6%, margin expands to 28.5% on lower revenue Bucharest, August 25, 2026 Purcari Wineries PCL ("Group", "Company"), one of CEE's leading wine producers, announced today its financial results for the first semester of 2026. Group revenue was RON 182.2 million, down 7% YoY, reflecting softer consumer demand in Romania and the transition to new distribution arrangements in CEE, partly offset by growth in Moldova and Bulgaria. EBITDA grew 6% to RON 51.9 million, with margin expanding 3 percentage points to 28.5%, reflecting operational efficiencies and cost discipline. Net profit was RON 15.0 million (8.3% margin), down 4% YoY, as the EBITDA improvement was offset by higher depreciation and finance costs. "The first half was shaped by a period of commercial change and a more challenging consumer environment, particularly in Romania. Even so, our discipline shows in EBITDA growth and margin expansion. Importantly, we are completing an intensive investment cycle that lays a solid foundation for resilient growth in the coming periods. With the harvest approaching, early signs are encouraging, and we expect a stronger second half," said Victor Bostan, CEO and Founder of Purcari Wineries. Key commercial highlights for H1 2026: Romania: -9.5% YoY to RON 105m, as fiscal tightening and softer consumer demand weighed on the market, with the decline concentrated in Purcari brand volumes. Romania remains the Group's largest market. Bulgaria: +23.6% YoY to RON 10.3m, on continued volume-led distribution gains and market share progress, ahead of Poland as a Group market. Moldova: +0.7% YoY to RON 29.4m, broadly stable, with Purcari up modestly and Bardar holding. CEE: -14.9% YoY, reflecting the transition to new distribution arrangements, with the decline rate narrowing versus Q1 as the new setup progresses. RoW: -5.3% YoY, with strong growth in Türkiye partly offsetting softer Asian and other export markets.
