( Nasdaq : ATAI ) ( “ atai ” ) , a clinical - stage biopharmaceutical company aiming to transform the treatment of mental health disorders , today reported its financial results for the third quarter ended September 30 , 2021 , and provided its corporate update . This clinical trial demonstrated the rapid onset of effect , large effect size , and durability of COMP360 ( a proprietary synthetic formulation of psilocybin ) in treatment - resistant depression . We expect another important clinical readout before the end of the year for RL - 007 in cognitive impairment associated with schizophrenia .
