Adjusted EBITDA ( a non - GAAP financial measure ) in the third quarter of 2021 was a loss of ( $ 3.6 ) million compared to an adjusted EBITDA loss of ( $ 2.7 ) million in the third quarter of 2020 . The Company had $ 31.8 million in cash and cash equivalents as of September 30 , 2021 , compared to $ 37.9 million as of December 31 , 2020 .
