2 CAPEX CAPEX totaled US$ 97.9 million in 2Q26, compared with US$ 104.7 million in 2Q25. Spending during 2Q26 was primarily allocated to San Gabriel (US$ 60.7 million), El Brocal (US$ 17.2 million) and Uchucchacua/Yumpag (US$ 9.6 million). Operating Revenues Net sales totaled US$ 529.0 million in 2Q26, compared with US$ 369.5 million in 2Q25. The increase was primarily driven by higher realized prices and higher gold sales volumes, with the increase in gold sales volumes reflecting the commencement of sales from San Gabriel in 2Q26, partially offset by decreased copper, lead and zinc sales volumes. The decrease in copper sales volumes reflect ed Buenaventura’s sale of 2,135 metric tons of contained copper from Cerro Verde in 2Q26 , compared with 4,295 metric tons in 2Q25, when Buenaventura commenced these sales. Copper sales volumes in 2Q25 were higher than normal quarterly levels to meet agreed-upon volumes with Cerro Verde. The Company recorded a negative provisional pric ing adjustment of US$ 92.7 million in 2Q26, comprised of a US$ 89.7 million negative adjustment related to prior-period liquidations, and a US$ 3.0 million decrease in the fair value of accounts receivable . This compare d with a positive provisional pricing adjustment of US$ 8.9 million in 2Q25. 3 Production and Operating Costs • Equity gold production totaled 37,266 ounces in 2Q26, compared with 30,463 ounces in 2Q25. The increase was primarily due to higher production at Coimolache and Orcopampa, as well as the ramp-up at San Gabriel, which more than offset decreased production at La Zanja and El Brocal. • Equity s ilver production totaled 3,693,984 ounces in 2Q26, compared with 3,599,834 ounces in 2Q25. The increase was primarily attributable to higher production at Yumpag, partially offset by lower production at Julcani. Lead and zinc production decreased by 19% and 5% year-over-year, respectively, primarily reflecting lower grades at Tambomayo. • Equity copper production totaled 26,315 metric tons (MT) in 2Q26, compared with 27,318 MT in 2Q25, primarily reflecting lower production at Cerro Verde. Yumpag’s silver production increased by 8% year-over-year, driven by higher ore throughput, with silver grades remaining stable year-over-year. Combined silver production at Uchucchacua and Yumpag increased by 7% year-over-year in 2Q26. • Silver cost applicable to sales (CAS) increased to US$ 22.82 per ounce in 2Q26, compared with US$ 13.90 per ounce in 2Q25, as expected. The increase was primarily due to higher commercial deductions, driven by price -based escalators . Higher exploration expense during the quarter also contributed to the increase in unit cost. During the quarter, processed tonnage was constrained by challenges related to tailings-management, particularly at the tailings filtration plant. Initiatives to improve metallurgical recoveries continued during the quarter. • Following the commencement of sales recognition in 2Q26, gold CAS was recorded for the first time at US$ 5,640 per ounce. As San Gabriel remains in the ramp-up phase, this CAS is not yet fully representative of the operation’s expected steady -state cost profile , as production and sales volumes remain below anticipated steady-state levels. The increases were primarily driven by higher ore throughput following the resumption of full -capacity mining and processing activities, which more than offset lower gold and silver grades expected during the quarter based on the mine plan. • CAS in 2Q26 was in line with 2Q25. The lower silver grades primarily reflected a reduced proportion of ore processed from Achilla, the area with the highest silver contribution, while a higher proportion of ore processed came from Rosario, which has a stronger gold profile. As a result of this shift in ore mix, gold production increased by 32% year-over-year. • Silver CAS increased to US$ 67.58 per ounce in 2Q26 from US$ 24.62 per ounce in 2Q25, primarily due to lower silver sales volumes. 11 APPENDIX 4: COST APPLICABLE TO SALES RECONCILIATION Reconciliation of Costs Applicable to Sales and Cost Applicable to Sales per Unit Sold Cost applicable to sales consists of cost of sales, excluding depreciation and amortization, plus selling expenses. Cost applicable to sales per unit sold for each mine consists of cost applicable to sales for a particular metal produced at a given mine di vided by the volume of such metal produced at such mine in the specified period. Cost applicable to sales is not directly comparable to the cash operating cost figures disclosed in the Company’s previous earnings releases. Cost applicable to sales and Cost applicable to sales per unit of mineral sold are not measures of financial performance under IFRS and may not be comparable to similarly titled measures of other companies. The Company considers Cost applicable to sales and Cost applicable to sales per unit of mineral sold to be key measures in managing and evaluating the Company’s operating performance. These measures are widely reported in the precious metals industry as a benchmark for performance, but do not have standardized meanings. You should not consider Cost applicable to sales or Cost applicable to sales per unit of mineral sold as alternatives to cost of sales determined in accordance with IFRS, as indicators of Buenaventura’s operating performance. Cost applicable to sales and Cost applicable to sales per unit of mineral sold are calculated without adjusting for by-product revenue amounts. Operations’ Cost applicable to sales does not include operating cost for those months during which Buenaventura’s operations were suspended due to COVID-19, as these have been classified as “Unabsorbed costs due to production stoppage” within the financial statements. The tables below set forth (i ) a reconciliation of consolidated Cost of sales, excluding depreciation and amortization to consolidated Cost applicable to sales, (ii) reconciliations of the components of Cost applicable to sales (by mine and mineral) to the corresponding consolidated l ine items set forth in Buenaventura’s consolidated statements of profit or loss for the three and twelve months ended December 31, 2022 and 2021 and (iii) reconciliations of Cost of sales, excluding depreciation and amortization to Cost applicable to sales for each of the Company’s mining units. The amounts set forth in Cost applicable to sales and Cost applicable to sales per unit sold for each mine and mineral indicated in the tables below can be reconciled to the amounts set forth on Buenaventura’s consolidated statements of profit or loss for the three and twelve months ended December 31, 2021 and 2022 by reference to the reconciliations of Cost of sales, excluding depreciation and amortization (by mine and mineral), Selling Expenses (by mine and m etal) expenses and Exploration in units in operations (by mine and mineral) to consolidated Cost of sales, excluding depreciation and amortization, consolidated Selling Expenses and consolidated Exploration in units in operations expenses, respectively, set forth below.
