Generated $ 119.9 million in pre - tax pre - provision net revenue ( PPNR ) , or 1.80 percent of average assets on an annualized basis . Credit quality indicators continued to improve as evidenced by a decline of $ 8.9 million , or 8.1 percent , in total non - performing assets ; provision for credit losses of $ 11.5 million driven primarily by day one accounting provision requirements associated with loans acquired during the quarter .
