Inc. ( NASDAQ : ENTG ) , today reported its financial results for the Company's third quarter ended October 2 , 2021 . Third - quarter sales were $ 579.5 million , an increase of 20 % from the same quarter last year . Third - quarter GAAP net income was $ 117.5 million , or $ 0.86 per diluted share , which included $ 11.8 million of amortization of intangible assets and $ 1.3 million of integration costs . Non - GAAP net income was $ 125.4 million for the third quarter and non - GAAP earnings per diluted share was $ 0.92 . Bertrand Loy , Entegris ' president and chief executive officer , said : " In the third quarter , we continued to deliver on our growth strategy in a very dynamic supply chain environment .
