First Quarter 2021 Financial Results • Revenue for the first quarter of 2021 increased 45 % to a record $ 137.9 million , compared to $ 95.1 million for the first quarter of 2020 . GAAP gross margin was 56.6 % for the first quarter of 2021 , compared to 57.9 % for the first quarter of 2020 . Adjusted gross margin was 64.0 % for the first quarter of 2021 , compared to 64.1 % for the first quarter of 2020 . GAAP net loss for the first quarter of 2021 was $ ( 12.3 ) million , or $ ( 0.18 ) per basic share , compared to GAAP net loss of $ ( 7.4 ) million , or $ ( 0.12 ) per basic share , for the first quarter of 2020 . • Non - GAAP net income for the first quarter of 2021 was $ 16.1 million , or $ 0.23 per diluted share , compared to non - GAAP net income of $ 11.1 million , or $ 0.17 per diluted share , for the first quarter of 2020 .
