( NYSE : GHL ) today reported revenues of $ 88.6 million , net income of $ 20.1 million and diluted earnings per share of $ 0.85 for the quarter ended September 30 , 2021 . The Firm's third quarter 2021 revenues compare to revenues of $ 56.0 million in the comparable period in 2020 , an increase of $ 32.6 million . The Firm's third quarter 2021 net income and earnings per share compare to a net loss of $ 9.4 million and a loss per share of $ 0.49 for the third quarter 2020 . For the nine months ended September 30 , 2021 , revenues of $ 200.8 million compare to $ 170.9 million for the same nine month period in 2020 , an increase of $ 29.9 million . For the first nine months of 2021 , net income of $ 13.4 million and diluted earnings per share of $ 0.55 compare to a net loss of $ 31.9 million and a loss per share of $ 1.69 for the same period in 2020 .
