Third Quarter 2021 Financial Performance Net revenues were $ 1,188.8 million , an increase of 4 % year - over - year and an increase of 1 % sequentially . GAAP operating margin was 10.1 % , a decrease from 11.0 % in the third quarter of 2020 , and an increase from 7.3 % in the second quarter of 2021 . Non - GAAP operating margin was 16.6 % , a decrease from 17.1 % in the third quarter of 2020 , and an increase from 15.8 % in the second quarter of 2021 . GAAP net income was $ 88.9 million , a decrease of 39 % year - over - year , and an increase of 43 % sequentially , resulting in diluted net income per share of $ 0.27 . Non - GAAP net income was $ 152.0 million , an increase of 5 % year - over - year , and an increase of 8 % sequentially , resulting in non - GAAP diluted net income per share of $ 0.46 .
