( " MACOM " ) ( Nasdaq : MTSI ) , a leading supplier of semiconductor products , today announced its financial results for its fiscal third quarter ended June 30 , 2023 . Third Quarter Fiscal Year 2023 GAAP Results • • • • Revenue was $ 148.5 million , a decrease of 13.8 % , compared to $ 172.3 million in the previous year fiscal third quarter and a decrease of 12.3 % compared to $ 169.4 million in the prior fiscal quarter ; Gross margin was 58.0 % , compared to 60.7 % in the previous year fiscal third quarter and 60.6 % in the prior fiscal quarter ; Income from operations was $ 17.3 million , or 11.7 % of revenue , compared to income from operations of $ 36.0 million , or 20.9 % of revenue , in the previous year fiscal third quarter and income from operations of $ 35.9 million , or 21.2 % of revenue , in the prior fiscal quarter ; and Net income was $ 11.9 million , or $ 0.17 per diluted share , compared to net income of $ 32.2 million , or $ 0.45 per diluted share , in the previous year fiscal third quarter and net income of $ 25.8 million , or $ 0.36 per diluted share , in the prior fiscal quarter . Third Quarter Fiscal Year 2023 Adjusted Non - GAAP Results • • Adjusted gross margin was 60.1 % , compared to 62.2 % in the previous year fiscal third quarter and 62.1 % in the prior fiscal quarter ; Adjusted income from operations was $ 37.0 million , or 24.9 % of revenue , compared to adjusted income from operations of $ 54.1 million , or 31.4 % of revenue , in the previous year fiscal third quarter and adjusted income from operations of $ 56.6 million , or 33.4 % of revenue , in the prior fiscal quarter ; and Adjusted net income was $ 38.5 million , or $ 0.54 per diluted share , compared to adjusted net income of $ 52.1 million , or $ 0.73 per diluted share , in the previous year fiscal third quarter and adjusted net income of $ 56.7 million , or $ 0.79 per diluted share , in the prior fiscal quarter .
