( NYSE : OMF ) today reported pretax income of $ 463 million and net income of $ 350 million for the second quarter of 2021 , compared to $ 118 million and $ 89 million , respectively , in the prior year quarter . Earnings per diluted share were $ 2.60 in the second quarter of 2021 , compared to $ 0.66 in the prior year quarter . On July 21 , 2021 , OneMain declared a dividend of $ 4.20 per share payable on August 13 , 2021 , to record holders of the company's common stock as of the close of business on August 6 , 2021. The company expects to maintain a minimum quarterly dividend of $ 0.70 per share going forward .
