ANNOUNCES FIRST QUARTER EARNINGS New York ( Globe Newswire ) – Value Line , Inc. , ( NASDAQ : VALU ) reported financial results for the first fiscal quarter ended July 31 , 2026 . • Retained earnings at July 31 , 2026 , were $ 123,949,000 , an increase of 1.1 % compared to retained earnings at April 30 , 2026 . Shareholders ' equity reached $ 109,166,000 at July 31 , 2026 , an increase of 1.2 % from the shareholders ' equity of $ 107,890,000 as of April 30 , 2026 . Net income of $ 4,655,000 or $ 0.50 per share for the first quarter of fiscal year 2027 compared to $ 6,460,000 for the comparable quarter of fiscal year 2026. The decrease in net income was primarily a result of the Company's lower income from EAM trust . At the April 2026 meeting , the Board of Directors raised the quarterly dividend from $ 0.325 to $ 0.35 cents per share , a 7.7 % increase .
