Operating revenue of $ 32.9 billion , up 4.3 percent from third - quarter 2020. This includes two months of Verizon Media revenue of approximately $ 1.4 billion on a segment basis . Excluding Verizon Media * , operating revenues increased 5.5 percent . Net income of $ 6.6 billion , an increase of 45.5 percent from third - quarter 2020 , and adjusted EBITDA * of $ 12.3 billion , an increase of 3.3 percent from third - quarter 2020 . 129,000 total broadband net additions , defined as wireline and fixed wireless .
