( NYSE and SIX : ZBH ) today reported financial results for the quarter ended June 30 , 2021. The Company reported second quarter net sales of $ 2.027 billion , an increase of 65.3 % over the prior year period , and an increase of 60.7 % on a constant currency basis . Second quarter 2021 net sales increased 1.9 % when compared to the pre - pandemic second quarter 2019 , and were flat on a constant currency basis . Net earnings for the second quarter of 2021 were $ 141.9 million , or $ 400.5 million on an adjusted basis . Diluted earnings per share were $ 0.67 for the second quarter .
