( NYSE and SIX : ZBH ) today reported financial results for the quarter ended September 30 , 2021. The Company reported third quarter net sales of $ 1.924 billion , a decrease of 0.3 % from the prior year period , and a decrease of 0.8 % on a constant currency basis . Third quarter 2021 net sales increased 1.7 % when compared to the pre - pandemic third quarter 2019 , and increased 0.4 % on a constant currency basis . Net earnings for the third quarter of 2021 were $ 145.6 million , or $ 381.2 million on an adjusted basis .
